Following the awesome Sharon Stoned debut album License To Confuse (Snoop Records//Brake Out Records) and the Tape EP on Berlin's City Slang label, Mark and Krite signed to Sony Columbia and release the highly acclaimed double-album Sample & Hold, which took in special guest contributions from the likes of Evan Dando (the band supported The Lemonheads throughout their 1997 Car Button Cloth europe-tour), Lou Barlow, The Notwist. Tom Liwa, Furtips, Gitbox!, Tuesday Weld, Tocotronic and members of HP Zinker and Die Goldenen Zitronen. After the Down single and the tour-résumé Your Very Own EP, the outtake-collection All Death All Of The Time released 2015 as part of the 74on47 non-profit-DL-project with Tortuga Bar. Two more Sharon Stoned albums will be released in 2024. Unter Schafen Records release the 20 songs best of collection Retrospective on April 12, 2024 as a high-quality 2x gatefold vinyl. Barhill Records release the outtake album Sleeping Nasties with unreleased remixes, demos and live recordings in autumn 2024.
